Managing Partner

Dr. Gabriele Lehner, Ph.D. is a registered business consultant and Managing Partner at Lehner Executive Partners. In 2012, she established offices in Munich, followed by Frankfurt in 2014. As Trusted Advisor to leading companies, she specializes in filling executive and supervisory boards in times of transformation and change.

From 1980 to 1986, Dr. Lehner completed a PhD in psychology combined with a degree in business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. She completed another PhD program at SFU from 2008 to 2011 on the topic of “Mindfulness for the treatment and prophylaxis of work-related burn-out disorders in executives”.
At the MDI (Management Institute of Industry) in Vienna, she was able to gain her first professional experience in the field of executive development.

Since 1987, Dr. Gabriele Lehner has been active in Executive Search in Austria, Germany and the CEE countries. Until 1988 she worked for Ratio as a consultant, then as managing director in the recruitment agency Dahlke & Partner.
In 1996, she was entrusted with the establishment and management of Plaut Personalberatung, which Dr. Lehner took over as Senior Partner as part of a management buyout in 2001. This company was renamed Lehner Executive Partners in 2003.

Her philosophy is characterized by a combination of in-depth market knowledge and the highest of ethical values.

Dr. Lehner additionally offers future-oriented approaches outside of the area of Executive Search. In doing so, she focuses on building strategic partnerships and supporting international customers in their quest for truly diverse, sustainability-driven and responsible leadership.

In 2011, her book “Aufsicht ist weiblich? Neue Wege zum Unternehmenserfolg” (Engl. Supervision is female? New Paths to Corporate Success) was published by the Manz Verlag.
